The Roche Group has redesigned the industrial strategy of one of its largest European production sites located near Paris France in Fontenay-sous-Bois .

The Roche Group has decided to open up its production capacities and to offer its international know-how to other players in the pharmaceutical industry, while continuing to develop its own production.

This dual task has been assigned to Roche's new subsidiary, Cenexi®, operational since 1 Jan 2004.

The strategy was prepared over a long period, allowing time for cultural changes in the company and its management.

Roche has likewise invested heavily in effective infrastructure and state-of-the-art technology, and we have geared the entire organisation towards the needs of the contract manufacturing market.
