Fontenay-sous-Bois

Cenexi Group was created on the Fontenay-sous-Bois site in 2004. Employing 670 people*, this 15,000 m² GMP plant on a four-hectare site is located 9 km east of Paris. It is a center of excellence for injectable ampoules.

By acquiring this former site of a major pharmaceutical group, Roche, Cenexi established itself as a contract development and manufacturing company (CDMO) for drugs.

This manufacturing plant is a center of excellence for injectable ampoules with a proven capacity of some 300 million units per year for all existing formats on the market (1-25 ml). The site also has capacity available for tablet, capsule, and syrup development and manufacturing services.

The site is also home to Cenexi Services, the Group’s entity which employs 110 experts and supports formulation activities, analytical and pharmaceutical form developments, industrial transfer, and regulatory support for experimental products or products already on the market. About sixty of these experts, based in Fontenay (the other are divided between Braine-l’Alleud and Osny)*, are tasked with supporting the industrial strategy of the sites.
